About
Forest Footsteps Childcare in Chandlers Ford was first established after Ramalley Preschool closed its doors.
The Owner and Senior Manager, Erin Cuffley, took the opportunity to start a preschool at the existing scout hut - offering a more flexible childcare option for parents and families.
Forest Footsteps Childcare now has two settings and offers a safe and secure environment for all children to explore the natural outdoors. We deliver fun, engaging and stimulating educational experiences whilst following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum (EYFS).

Learning
Every day at Forest Footsteps Childcare is focused on exploration, 'Learning through Play' and enjoying the outdoors. Children’s ideas and interests are reflected in the activities, resources, materials and outings that we provide. All experiences, activities and routines will be a learning opportunity for developing and progressing the understanding of children in all areas of their learning. We encourage them to contribute their ideas, take part in risk-assessing their choices; all whilst giving them independence and options to support their development. Our key aim is to foster curiosity and to aid children in becoming resilient, lifelong learners.
All experiences are play-based. Some are free choice and others are adult-led, structured activities that are linked to the interests of the children. This allows them to take ownership of their learning, follow their own patterns of play, build on their own natural curiosities and learn at a pace suitable to their age and stage of development.

We accept all Early Years Funding and Childcare Vouchers.

Uniform
We have optional children's t-shirts and hoodies available to purchase, with our Forest Footsteps Childcare logo embroidered on.
